Terms of Use
Effective Date: October 6, 2026 · Last Updated: October 6, 2026
Welcome to Vantaire Records.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Vantaire Records website, including its pages, content, music catalog, submission forms, communications features, and any other website, page, service, or digital experience that links to these Terms (collectively, the “Site”).
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site.
1. About Vantaire Records
Vantaire Records is an independent record label and creative music company. The Site may provide information concerning Vantaire, its catalog, releases, artists, projects, licensing opportunities, music submissions, business activities, and related creative content.
Nothing appearing on the Site constitutes an offer of employment, representation, recording services, publishing services, distribution services, financing, partnership, or any other contractual relationship unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement signed by an authorized representative of Vantaire.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Site only if you are legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Site only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Individuals submitting music or seeking to enter into a business relationship with Vantaire must have the legal capacity and authority to do so.
3. Limited License to Use the Site
Subject to these Terms, Vantaire grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Site for lawful personal, informational, or legitimate business purposes. This license does not transfer ownership of any portion of the Site or its content. Except as expressly permitted, you may not reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, transmit, modify, sell, license, exploit, scrape, republish, or create derivative works from Site content without prior written authorization.
4. Vantaire Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the Site and its contents are owned by, licensed to, or used with authorization by Vantaire or the applicable rights holders. Protected content may include music, sound recordings, musical compositions, album artwork, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, trademarks, trade names, artist names, designs, typography, website layouts, written copy, catalog information, audio and audiovisual materials, promotional materials, software, code, data, and other creative or proprietary materials.
Such material may be protected by copyright, trademark, trade dress, contract, unfair competition, and other intellectual-property laws. The availability of content on the Site does not grant you any ownership interest or intellectual-property rights in that content.
5. Vantaire Records Name and Marks
The names Vantaire and Vantaire Records, associated logos, visual identifiers, and other Vantaire branding may constitute trademarks, service marks, trade names, or other proprietary identifiers. You may not use Vantaire branding in a manner that suggests sponsorship or endorsement without authorization, creates confusion, misrepresents a relationship, is used in connection with counterfeit merchandise, is incorporated into another business without authorization, or otherwise violates applicable law or Vantaire's rights.
6. Music, Recordings, and Album Artwork
Music, recordings, compositions, lyrics, artwork, videos, and related materials appearing on the Site remain subject to the rights of their respective owners and licensors. The ability to listen to, preview, view, or access content through the Site does not authorize you to download, copy, redistribute, sample, remix, synchronize, use commercially, train artificial-intelligence systems, create derivative works, upload to another platform, or otherwise exploit the material.
Any commercial use, synchronization, master-use, publishing, sampling, reproduction, or licensing request must be separately authorized in writing by the applicable rights holder.
7. Music Submissions
7.1 No Obligation to Accept Submissions
Vantaire is under no obligation to review a submission, listen to a recording, respond to the sender, provide feedback, return submitted materials, enter into discussions, offer representation, release or distribute the submitted material, enter into an agreement, or take any other action regarding a submission. Submission does not guarantee consideration.
7.2 You Retain Ownership
Submitting music or other creative material does not transfer ownership of that material to Vantaire. Except for the limited evaluation permission described below, you retain whatever copyright or other rights you lawfully hold in the submitted material. Any transfer, license, assignment, distribution arrangement, recording agreement, publishing agreement, or other commercial exploitation must be governed by a separate agreement.
7.3 Limited Permission to Evaluate the Submission
By submitting material to Vantaire, you grant Vantaire and persons working on its behalf a limited, non-exclusive permission to access, reproduce internally where technically necessary, listen to, view, and evaluate the submitted material for purposes of considering a possible business or creative relationship. This evaluation permission does not authorize Vantaire to commercially release your music.
7.4 Submissions Are Not Confidential
Unless Vantaire has entered into a separate written confidentiality agreement with you before the submission is made, submissions are not confidential. Submitting material does not create a confidential relationship, fiduciary relationship, agency relationship, artist-label relationship, attorney-client relationship, partnership, joint venture, or any other special relationship.
7.5 Similar or Independently Developed Material
Vantaire, its artists, writers, producers, employees, contractors, and business partners may already be developing—or may later develop—music, lyrics, titles, concepts, artwork, themes, ideas, or projects that are similar to something contained in your submission. Vantaire's receipt of your submission does not prevent Vantaire or others from creating, acquiring, developing, releasing, distributing, or exploiting independently created material that may be similar in theme, concept, genre, or other characteristics.
7.6 Your Representations Regarding Submissions
By submitting material, you represent that you have authority to make the submission, you own or control the rights necessary to submit the material, your submission does not knowingly infringe another's rights, you are not violating an agreement by making the submission, and any collaborators whose information you submit have authorized you to do so.
7.7 No Compensation for Submission
Vantaire owes no payment, royalty, fee, reimbursement, accounting, or other compensation merely because material has been submitted or reviewed. Any compensation would arise only under a separate applicable agreement.
7.8 No Obligation to Preserve Submissions
Vantaire may delete, archive, disregard, or cease maintaining submitted material at any time, subject to applicable law. You are responsible for maintaining your own copies.
8. Ideas, Feedback, and Non-Music Communications
If you voluntarily provide comments, suggestions, ideas, feedback, or recommendations regarding the Site or Vantaire's services that are not submitted as music or other protected creative works, Vantaire may use that feedback without restriction or compensation to the extent permitted by law.
9. Prohibited Use
You may not use the Site to violate any applicable law, infringe intellectual-property rights, impersonate another person, misrepresent your affiliation with Vantaire, submit fraudulent information, introduce viruses or malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access, circumvent security measures, interfere with Site operation, conduct unauthorized scraping, improperly collect personal information, conduct denial-of-service attacks, probe system vulnerabilities, use automated tools to artificially generate engagement, create misleading associations, sell counterfeit merchandise, or assist another person in prohibited conduct.
10. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Extraction
Except where expressly authorized in writing, you may not use automated systems to extract substantial amounts of content from the Site for purposes including training artificial-intelligence systems, developing music-generation systems, voice cloning, building style imitation datasets, or creating competing content databases.
11. Streaming and Third-Party Services
The Site may link to or integrate third-party services including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms. Those services are operated independently from Vantaire. Your use is governed by that platform's terms, privacy policy, and rules. Vantaire does not control and is not responsible for third-party services.
12. Availability of Releases
Music displayed in the Vantaire catalog may become available, unavailable, delayed, changed, replaced, withdrawn, or restricted at any time. Release dates, titles, artwork, track listings, and distribution platforms may change before or after publication. Vantaire does not guarantee that any particular release will remain available through any particular platform.
13. Website Information
We attempt to present information accurately, but the Site may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or materials subject to change. Vantaire may modify Site content at any time without notice. Nothing on the Site should be relied upon as legal, financial, accounting, investment, or other professional advice.
14. Press, Media, and Promotional Materials
The availability of promotional photographs, artwork, biographies, press materials, logos, or other assets does not automatically grant permission for unrestricted use. Any permitted press use must comply with applicable copyright, trademark, publicity-right, and attribution requirements. For commercial licensing or broader usage rights, contact Vantaire.
15. Copyright Infringement
Vantaire respects intellectual-property rights. If you believe material available through the Site infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, please send a written notice containing sufficient information to identify the copyrighted work, the infringing material and its location, your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, and your signature. Vantaire may remove or restrict access to material when appropriate.
16. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also subject to the Vantaire Records Privacy Policy, which describes how personal information may be collected, used, disclosed, retained, and protected. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
17. Security
You may not attempt to defeat, circumvent, disable, damage, or interfere with security features of the Site. Although Vantaire takes reasonable measures to operate the Site securely, internet-based systems cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for using appropriate security practices when accessing online services.
18. Third-Party Content
The Site may include content owned or provided by artists, photographers, designers, licensors, distributors, or other third parties. All rights in that material remain with their respective owners. Vantaire's display of third-party material does not grant users any additional right to reproduce or exploit that material.
19. Links to the Vantaire Site
You may link to publicly accessible pages of the Site in a lawful manner that does not falsely suggest sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation. Vantaire reserves the right to request removal of links that are misleading, unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise harmful.
20. No Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.
VANTAIRE DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, AND RELIABILITY.
Vantaire does not warrant that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components.
21. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VANTAIRE AND ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VANTAIRE'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID VANTAIRE FOR USE OF THE SITE DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM; OR (B) $100.
22. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vantaire and its affiliates, officers, employees, and representatives from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Site, material you submit in violation of another person's rights, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of intellectual-property or other rights.
23. Suspension and Termination
Vantaire may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to all or part of the Site when reasonably necessary, including where we believe a user has violated these Terms, misused the Site, threatened Site security, infringed another person's rights, or engaged in unlawful activity. Vantaire may also discontinue all or part of the Site at any time.
24. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Vantaire Records, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
25. Disputes and Venue
Except where applicable law provides otherwise, any legal action arising from or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought in the courts where Vantaire is located. You and Vantaire consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts for such disputes.
26. No Waiver
If Vantaire does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not waive our right to enforce it later. A waiver is effective only when expressly made by an authorized representative.
27. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or modified as necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
28. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without Vantaire's prior written consent. Vantaire may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate restructuring, transfer of assets, financing, or other legitimate business transaction, subject to applicable law.
29. Entire Agreement
These Terms and the Vantaire Privacy Policy constitute the agreement governing ordinary use of the Site. Separate written agreements may apply to artists, writers, producers, distributors, licensees, vendors, contractors, or business partners. Where a separately executed agreement expressly conflicts with these Terms, the separately executed agreement will control.
30. Changes to These Terms
Vantaire may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will be revised. Your continued use of the Site after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
31. Contact
Questions concerning these Terms may be directed using our contact form.
